Links
Well, either you're here because you wanted to find out the kind of websites I like, or you just wanted to get the heck outta here, and that would make me very sad. You wouldn't do that would you? No, I'm kidding, but I hope you wouldn't do that anyway.
To get to the point, here is my collection of favorite links. A description accompanies each link so you can get an idea of what you'll find. I'll post more as I get time. Use it at your own risk!
Cartoon Network
I love to watch cartoons. Thank our LORD that there is a channel on TV that plays cartoons all day! It's called Cartoon Network, and it rocks.
The Screen Savers
I also love to watch television about technology. The Screen Savers is a daily user-friendly computer variety show. Any geek in the house will love this one.
Xbox.com
As you may have seen on the front page, I love the Xbox and have dedicated a part of my website to it. You might like my lovely page, but you'll love this one better. It's official.
Download.com
Downloading files is a popular thing these days. When I got my first computer all I planned to do was download stuff. Somewhere after that time, I found this site, complete with almost any file on the net.
Leoville
This is the website of the co-host of TV show, The Screen Savers and all-around good guy, Leo Laporte. You can read his blog, find out about events, etc.
Rhapsody
This is THE legal way to get music. This program gives you access to hundreds of albums and internet radio stations. An account will cost you, but it's worth it when you can instantly listen to that one coveted CD from the record store. Check out the trial at least.
Kazaa
Now for THE illegal way to get music. This program gives you access to "shared" files over the internet. Any kind. But remember, only download songs from CDs that you already have ;-).
Winamp.com
This is my pic for the best software MP3 player. It's small, free, skinnble, and has a wealth of add-ons.
Google
This is the best search engine. Look up info, images, prices, magazines, etc. You can even use Google to translate languages and Acrobat and PowerPoint documents. [See my review in the Cool Stuff page.]
Betsy's Planet
My sis, Betsy's upcoming website. I'm so proud!
W3Schools
A great place to get started in learning Web development (HTML, CSS, Flash); best of all, it's FREE! These guys sure helped me out.
Ultra Puck's Website
My good friend, Daniel's website.
My Own Work
TomHarvill.com
My grandfather's website. He writes about memorable times in his own life and brings up good morals.
JamieHarvill.com
This is my dad's website. He's a christian musician and songwriter. Check out the Music section for great tunes.
HarvillDesign
My own small Web design business. Yes, I had to create another Harvill site ;-).
WorshipFoundry.com
A Sunday-night youth program at my church.
